TCF simulated monthly carbon fluxes from 1995 to 2011 by Yonghong Yi, Oct 20, 2012 (1) Variables: Monthly GPP and NEE fluxes (gC/m2/month) (2) Spatial resolution: 1 degree (3) Geographic extent: the region covers from 179.5 W to 179.5 E longitudinally, and from 89.5 S to 89.5 N latidudinally. The data were simulated based on MERRA meteorology (1995-2011), and MODIS NDVI (2000-2011) inputs. NDVI data in 2000 were used for the simulations prior to 2000, based on the assumptions that climate variations are the main factors affecting vegetation productivity. Fire disturbance impact was considered using GFED annual burned area product (1997-2011). No burning was accounted prior to 1997 due to lack of data. References: Yi Y., J.S. Kimball, L.A. Jones, R.H.
