Documentation Notes for NASA SRB Shortwave Radiations Release-3.0 from 1983 to 2006

(1) Variable: Daily SRB Release-3.0 surface incoming and net shortwave radiations (W/m2). 
(2) Temporal extent: Daily data for 1983 through 2006 inclusive.
(3) Spatial resolution: 1Deg by 1Deg.
(4) Geographic extent: Globally, from 0กใ to 360กใ longitudinally and from 90กใ to -90กใ latitudinally.
(5) Data format: Binary data. Individual data elements are each stored as IEEE single precision 32-bit 
(4-byte per value) float variables. The size of each data file is: sizeof(float) * cols * rows * days of the year 
(bytes). The first cols*rows floating-point data elements are the values for day one. The second cols*rows data 
elements are the values for day two, and so on. In other words, the data are saved by cols first, then by rows and days.
